While our Exceptional Home Package offers all the materials to build your home to a lock up stage, we realize that you may want to upgrade some specific products. This could be for personal preferences or to achieve a certain look.

Naturally, all our upgrade materials are certified as the best available. We have upgrades for your:

Structurally our floors, wall and roof system meet North American code requirements. However, for those that require something more, we offer:

• Subfloor - 5/8” plywood upgrade to ¾” Plywood

• Wall sheathing – ½” OSB upgrade to ½” plywood

• Roof sheathing – ½” OSB upgrade to ½” Spruce plywood

• Floor joists – 2x10 KD SPF upgrade to Engineered “I” joists

Exterior Siding protects your home from the elements. Our primed, ready to paint, hardiplank siding comes in a variety of profiles and carries a 50 year warranty.

Upgrade our primed Hardiplank siding and factory apply 1 coat of paint. This can save time and money on site as well as getting an excellent finish. A final coat of paint is then applied on site.

• Upgrade our Hardiplank siding to Cedar Bevel Siding to give a wonderful natural wood finish. If you do want a natural wood exterior, our Western Red Cedar is the ultimate in naturally providing a beautiful, long lasting, durable finish. Pre-stained Cedar Bevel siding is also available.

• Hardiplank siding can be changed to Vinyl Siding for a completely no maintenance finish.

• Accent your gables with Cedar R&R shingles to reduce the scale of a gable wall or to create a charming cottage look.

• Accent your gables with our vertically applied Cedar Channel siding. This also breaks up wall and adds an interesting feature.

• Our Hardiplank siding can be upgraded to include some Cultured stone accents. This could be a 3’ high band around the bottom of the walls, stone columns to accent your entry or a feature wall.

Windows we use at Country Heritage are quality, fusion welded vinyl with high performance glazing systems. To further enhance the performance and looks of your windows, we offer the following upgrades:

• Upgrade the glass to Low e and add Argon gas between the double glass

• Add Grilles to your windows to create a colonial, heritage or craftsman look.

• Add a wider pvc brickmould to the exterior of your windows.

• Add primed trim to frame around each window. This can be painted to accent your windows and siding.

• Upgrade hardware

• Upgrade sliders to casement windows

• Upgrade picture/slider & picture/casement to balanced sash

Exterior Doors create a lasting impression. Make your something special with our door upgrades: 

• Upgrade to add Designer lites

• Add Transoms above the door unit & sidelite(s) beside the door

• Upgrade to a solid Wood Cedar Door. Choose from many different designs and configurations.

Roofing is either 25 year asphalt or 30 year fiberglass shingle. You can also upgrade as follows: 

• Upgrade to 40 year fiberglass shingles

• Upgrade to 50 year fiberglass wind resistant shingles

• Perhaps you need to shed significant amounts of snow. If so, upgrade to a 26 gauge diamond rib metal roof.

Soffit/Fascia finish off the underside of the eaves and edge of the roof respectively. 

• Our standard aluminum vented soffit can be upgraded to 1x6 Cedar soffit with vent strips to match Cedar Bevel siding.

• 2x8 primed Fascia upgrade to 2x8 Cedar Fascia to match Cedar Bevel siding.

• 2x8 primed Fascia upgrade to 2x10 & 1x6 primed for a heavier look

• 2x8 primed Fascia upgrade to 2x10 & 1x6 Cedar Fascia for a heavier look to match Cedar Bevel siding.
