Our comprehensive home package of materials will allow you to build your home to a lock up stage. You will also need other materials to finish your home. By adding some of the options below, you can benefit from our system and save time and money.

Porches and Verandahs provide a covered entry to your home as well as adding an interesting architectural feature. Most Country Heritage designs have covered entries, but you may want to add to it.

• Add or enlarge a covered porch or verandah

• Sit outside and enjoy your surroundings, free from insects, by adding a screened porch

• Create a unique architectural detail on your porch gable by adding a King post truss detail

Sundecks are meant for relaxation. All Country Heritage designs lend themselves to adding a spectacular deck from which to spend your leisure time.  

• Add 5/4x4 or 5/4x6 bull nosed Treated decking

• Add 5/4x6 Cedar decking

• Add 2x6 Treated decking

• Add 2x6 cedar Decking

• Add Treated hand railing

• Add Cedar hand railing  

Architectural Features truly enhance and add character to your home. These can be a siding upgrade such as cedar shingles or a detail noted below: 

• Increasing the overhang of eaves can create a different look and allow larger brackets to be added.

• Add wood Brackets to the gables

• Create a unique architectural detail on your gable walls ends by adding a King post truss detail (show picture of close up of Liberty gable end) 

Insulation & Sheetrock are essential items needed to finish your home. Depending on your area, we may be a convenient source of supply for your project. 

• Add Floor, wall or roof insulation

• Add ½” or 5/8” sheetrock or aquaboard 

Interior Finishing truly adds the final touches to your home. Our associated Dream Homes company, Maple Interiors, has all the finishing materials you will need, including: 

• Interior Doors, prehung in jambs. Fir, pine, knotty pine, cedar, maple, oak and cherry in a multitude of sizes and designs.

• Floor Coverings, including all types of unfinished softwood such as fir, hemlock, maple and tamarack and prefinished hardwoods such as oak, maple, ash, birch and cherry. Even the exotic woods like Jatoba and Purpleheart are available.  A wide selection of laminate, tile, carpet, vinyl flooring completes our offering.

• Cabinetry is a variety of wood and finishes is possible for your kitchen, vanity, bookshelves and entertainment units.

• Add Interior Trim casing and baseboard are available in a variety of woods, sizes and profiles.

• Country Heritage vaulted rooms look even better by adding our Ceiling Liner in Cedar or Pine

• Stairs and Railing are available in hemlock, oak and maple. We can do standard stair systems in addition to freestanding open rise, curved or spiral units. 

Indoor Air Quality can be greatly improved by choosing certain finishing materials, construction details that ensure air tightness and installing a ventilation system. This contributes to a healthy home which is a particular benefit to people with allergies.

Sound Proofing enhances the quality of life in a home. We can help you increase sound proofing between designated walls or between floors to reduce noise transfer.

Radiant Heat Contact us for information on installing a radiant heat flooring system in your home. Note that many of our floor coverings are suited for radiant floors.

Environmental Considerations Country Heritage already has many environmentally friendly products in your home package such as engineered sheathing, Hardiplank siding, precut materials, roof trusses and energy efficient windows. Consider use of many other environmentally friendly materials on the market today.
